I have been to nearly every falafel place in the city, and this one is the best, bar none. The ingredients are wholesome, nutritious and made from scratch every day.

I really don't understand Lester's concerns about cleanliness, as the place is impeccably maintained with love and devotion. True, the decor is a little bit dated, but it is all part of the charm.

The falafels are delicious (as you would expect) but I prefer the Janina sandwich -- a mixture of lentils, rice, eggplant, tabouleh, and much, much more. It is well worth the drive from anywhere in the city, and is truly Toronto's best kept secret.

I visited on Feb 11, 2010. Winterlicious menu to try the restaurant since it was in my neigbourhood. My rating above is self explanatory. Awful service. We had to waive down a waitor to get anything.Would not recommend this poor service to anyone.AND they include a 15% tip for 2 ppl? It was totally not worth it.

I loved the Mango Tiger Prawns, Fish Pakora was awesome. Amazing taste!! They have 3 locations now. I went to all of them and will go back again.

Fabulous experience! The staff is so warm and welcoming! without any of the fake hockiness you get from the chain restaurants.
The roast beef was melt in your mouth tender! the yorkshire puddin' were soft and fluffy the stir fry and noodles were delicious, as well, the pollock were crisp to perfection! The soups were to die for! a creamy butternut squash and Cream of broccoli. To top it all off, the desserts were delicious and plentiful! I would definately go back, and would recommend anyone in East Scarborough go and try it out! You'll be pleasantly surprised. Great family atmosphere too!!

I had the best pastrami sandwich at Moe's. Too bad that the ignorant philopino lady is a server. She should be fired. She should not be serving the public. She is rude and loud and cannot speak english well. I suggest that Moe take a good look at his staff and fire some people. My whole family and friends will be told not to visit this establishment until that server is gone!

I have to say that considering all the glowing reviews received by this restaurant, my husband and I were disappointed. The food is ok, but the portions are small for the price. The chicken dish was terribly disappointing. The pasteis are bite sizes (only 4)for $8.
When we walked in, the smell of backed up pipes or some plumbing issue they must be having is the first thing we noticed. Our waitress left us waiting for 15 minutes before she brought us water and took our order and 20 minutes after cleaning our table without asking us if we wanted dessert. We ended up finally flagging her down to get the bill and skipped dessert altogether.

I have to be honest and say that we went directly to Messini's after to get a gyro because my husband was still hungry. Didn't really find this restaurant justified the excellent reviews it gets.

It was good... Can be better. But better than all of
the restaurants I have been to in mississauga. Price
is also reasonable. But they definitely have the
best haleem in town.

Note: I had to put 2009, but I visited this restaurant this week
(2010)!

I popped in for a quick lunch, and ordered the cream of cauliflower
soup and the bruschetta. Both were delicious, flavourful and
hearty, and I left wishing I had had room for more! I will definitely
go back, and have recommended it to all of my friends.

Much better than your average pup-fare!

We found this gem several months ago. We are huge fans of their
butter chicken, and chicken samosas (we get more than enough
food for 2 people). The naan is great and compliments the butter
chicken and rice very well.

They may not deliver in your area - but I guarantee you that it is
worth the drive to pick it up.

My fiance and I both had our dinner at the bar. The decour is really nice, but the tables are VERY close together and should have had at least one less. The food was VERY overpriced, and not that great. Desert was the last redemption, but we were not impressed. We could have gone anywhere for an apple tart or a lemon square, and for half the price. The service was good, and the live jazz was nice. Overall, the food and pricing have us not returning.
