My boyfriend and I cannot even begin to imagine HOW the Roncy Freshwood Grill stays open! The food is simply horrible, the interior is sketchy at best (even after they refurbished the place!) and the cooks look absolutely unclean - we kid you not.

I don't recommend the lakeshore venue that has just opened up. My wife and I have just got back from Freshwood Grill, and the food was mediocre at best, but what really stood out was the incredibly bad service; long waits, missing items, no check-ups etc. It's not worth the 'restaurant' experience.

I'm generally a big fan, and have been going regularly for months now. The grill is very good, and the flavour it adds to many of the foods is very nice. But I've noticed the quality slipping in the last 2 or 3 months. For the first time, their brunches are ho hum. They have a killer smoked salmon bagel, but the last two weeks the bagel has been stale.

I adore this grill! Awsome salads, apps and the yummiest smoothies. Their market fish plates are huge and delicious too. Freshwood grill's funky kitchy atmosphere is great for those of us that can't stand the pretension of college st eateries. Can't wait for the gorgeous back patio garden to open up again!!

I really like the freshwood , great menu for all and daily specials ! Funky neighbourhood spot with heated patio tent for more seating when busy .They make their own grilled sourdough flatbread for sandwichs ,pizza's fresh daily.Also long list of good breakfast items ,great omellettes and 3 types of bennys.They have a website also.

Having lived in the Roncesvalles village for many years ,I am thrilled to have the Freshwood Grill as my new neighbour.Its about time someone opened a place with great food and low prices .Nothing on the menu is over $10 and the portions are huge .Fresh ingredients and a twist on comfort food is definetely well received by me! The bacyard patio is great ,the tunes are good and the attitude is on College st.
