I enjoyed my meal, drinks and conversation with other customers eating in the bar room. Bartender was beautiful and cheerful facilitaing the conversation of her bar customers. good place.

My family and my gf's family were meeting for the first time and we wanted to go somewhere special. I think we made a perfect choice. After considering several hot-spots in th Yorkville area, we settled for the best (i think). Our families got along very well and good food, drinks sealed the deal. Servers had a great sense of humour. We sat in the main dining room which was not as loud as the other room or the patio.

A great dining adventure. Wild salmon was silky smooth, buffalo was tenderly excellent. Great service, as to be expected from a Michael Carlevale eatery.

Where should I begin. Soup was delicious - but I think I missed my main course because it was so small - it could have been another appetizer. The men with us had to order 2 additional entrees so they wouldn't starve to death. Note to Prego: Larger portions next time please.

I went to Prego Della Piazza for Summerlicious. The service was terrible to the point that we were ignored. The little bit of food that did arrive on the plate was tasty but the portion sizes were ridiculously small. No one should spend $30 for food and leave asking where is the closet hot dog vendor.

Clearly a disappointing meal, tables needed to be refinished, food lacked flavour and appeal. Little was done to enhance the food presentation, Not what I expected from a restaurant that was listed in the top fifty of Toronto.

I spent two nights at Prego during the film festival and was treated to excellent service from the barstaff... I was made welcome by all who worked there and had a GREAT time! I will definitely return!

I used to frequent Prego a few years ago but the food deteriorated. Now under the new chef Derek Von Raesfeld, it is spectacular! The pasta's are to die for! He has captured the true essence of Italian cooking. Congratulations!

The food was priced appropriately, but the wine was a bit steep, however, they have the selection to back it up. The owner, Michael, is always pleasant and more than willing to make friendly accommodations. Go on an evening you would like to have spectacular food, great wine, and a pleasant conversation.

Having a booth for dinner is both warm and charming. This is available only in Fall/Winter. The bar/smoking area seems to have more atmosphere with the lighting and piano, for those who want to eat with smoke. We have gone back again and again because it has not been disappointing. The staff are great.
