I love Terroni's Amatriciana pasta, but the "best" I've had is Gio's cousin Rosa's recipe for tomato sauce that they make at 7 Numbers and Gio Rana's Really Really Nice Restaurant. Sunday we went to Gio's and I had the penne with basil and tomato sauce - beautiful.

I'd sell my mother to get that recipe.

enjoyable overall, and at least the prices are lower than most. Forgetful servers seem more caught up in their own hipness. Rapini ($4.95) was a bit tough. Crispelle ($5.95) is probably the best dish though the squash flavour doesn't come through. $35 for one person including pasta, meat, side, and glass of wine. Things are starting to look up.

We had a party for 14 at Gio Rana's Really Really Nice Restaurant (Queen E & Leslie) and they did a set menu for us, gave us lots of options (a $30 or $40 menu), and the food was great and abundant.
We've been there a couple of times and the food is good and the atmosphere fun and trendy but not too trendy. We've never gotten any attitude from the staff.
