Rudest waitress ever - she literally walked away while I was ordering midway. I was thinking about what I want and she just took off and never came back. She never checked on us and we waited forever for our bill after we finished our meals. The so called AAA porterhouse steak was so tough I couldn't cut through it. It was worse than a $4 Wal-Mart steak. The duck that my bf had was really tough too. The crab spring rolls were fishy and the pate tasted disgusting. We spent $100 but only finished half of the meal. WORST RESTAURANT EVER

Finest piece of chicken I have ever had. Service was excellent too. The kind of meal that leaves you feeling energized and not at all stuffed although the portions are ample. And all for under $50 bucks a head.

It was our Anniversary dinner and what a memorable evening. Excellent food & service from start to finish. An amazing dinning experience. We will be back real soon.

One of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. Fantastic food and wine for the price! Perfectly comfortable. My family and I have been there many times over the years and service is so consistently good!

Fernando Temudo is the most genuine and attentive person alive. The rest of the staff is a reflection of this...this restaraunt is amazing!!!

I am a well known actor and while dining at Bistro 990 I found the staff to be friendly, the food to be excellent and the mood to be relaxed. It is not at all like many pretentious, expensive "celebrity hot-spots". It's a great little restaurant with great personality.

My faithful birthday restaurant! The place to find great service, food quality and presentation always consistent - something that is hard to find at most restaurants esp. the "trendy" ones! Try the creme brulee - best in the city in my opinion! The duck is wonderful too!

Our experience at Bistro 990 was second to none! The staff was attentative and well informed, not to mention personable. The food far surpassed any expectations we came in with. Fantastic!

The word "excellent" doesn't begin to describe the food, atmosphere and service at Bistro 990. From appetizer to dessert, the presentation is just the beginning. Everything was cooked to melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Four of us, each with a different entree, those served with different potatoes, but all with vegetables included. Portions were perfectly sized. And the desserts were spectacular! Highly recommend the lemon merangue. Excellent evening. Topped off when the maitre d' hailed us a cab. That's what I call service. This was our second visit and we'll be back for a third and more! The atmosphere and decor are inviting, the wait staff knowledgeable and attentive, but not overly so. This is a restaurant that cares about its patrons and is eager to provide an enjoyable dining experience.
