Thanks for the tips. I am now a regular at Trezzano. It is like stepping into the past (or Brooklyn). Love the art work. Anyway, their veal sandwich and sausages are great. I did not like the Porchetta, it was just too fatty and chewy for me. I am going to try Roberto's Meats at the corner of Keele and Wilson, by the CIBC very soon.

Yongeman,I wanted to thank you for suggesting Trezzano.I stopped by at lunch today and ordered the eggplant parmigian and a slice of potato pizza...both were delicious. My new favorite source for homestyle Italian cooking.
They didn't have any pastries when I was there, though.

Comparing it with La Luna,an Italian bakery in a strip mall on the south side of Wilson west of Dufferin, I prefer Trezzano Bakery at the corner of Dufferin and Wilson. Great, homemade sausage on a panini, or meatball, veal etc. A daily pasta and pizza by the square. Eat in or take out.
