I had some decent ones at the Abbot on the Hill pub near Summerhill & Yonge a few weeks ago. That said, I've never had "authentic" great southern-style BBQ ribs so I couldn't tell what a connoisseur would say. But they were tender and tasty and came with nice sides, including a whole grilled cob of corn, all for about $16 I think.

What an excellent little find.
I had a work associate bring me there for a bite and few drinks.
We enjoyed the Buffalo Shrimp, Artichoke Dip and Smoked Salmon with a couple of pints of beer.
The food was outstanding. I was particularly impressed with the flavor and texture of the perfectly prepared shrimp. I had a chance to meet the owners, Adam & Melissa, and was greeted with their warmth and hospitality. They gave me a felling that I could have some in for crackers and water and would have been provided with the same courtesy and attention.
As it was mid afternoon and a bit slow I also had chance to speak with our waitress Leane while my friend was taking a phone call. She seems to be cut from the same cloth as the owners and completed the whole service experience ensemble.
If you are in the area and have not checked it out do yourself a favor.
This find will be on my to-do list again.

visited 3367 Yonge location, We really really like this restaurant.
The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff is friendly and the food is of very good quality and value.
Their meatloaf is a reminder of the old fashioned home-made meatloaf, good portion, juicy, with onion gravey served with freshly made mashed potato and really delicious roasted seasonal fresh vegetables.
On Sundays, my husband always orders the Sunday Roast, also prepared traditionally with yorkshire pudding and the works.
The kids menu is a bit pricey but it is worth it for the quality ingredients and portion size is really for older children not toddlers.
It is family friendly yet still suitable for a mature crowd going out for a dring and an snack.
The wait staff are usually very good and deal with both crowds well.
Desserts are simple and we appreciate the seasonality of the ingredients.
I would love it if the chef at this location would offer cooking lessons because I love the style of cooking, especially the way vegetables are prepared.
Definitely a place to go with a good appetite.
