Best Middle Eastern Cuisine Restaurant in Ontario!

Amazing quality of food, service, price and atmosphere.

The food is exquisite and always fresh. I have been to countless middle eastern restaurants due to my work and never have I found a restaurant that even comes close to rival them; even in the slightest. Their chicken shawarma is juicy and well spiced with a hint of garlic. All their food is prepared fresh every day and never disapoints.

The service is quick, efficient, and also very caring and pleasant. They serve you with a smile on their faces and with a hearty joke that just can brighten up the worst of days. Countless times I have gone their feeling glum and left with a upbeat attitude that has lasted with the rest of the day.

The price is just right, very cheap at around 4-5 dollars for a falafel sandwich with very little cost for extra toppings such as humus and tabouleh (which are superb btw).

The atmosphere is casual and nice. The decor may be outdated, but I feel that it actually adds to the charm and family oriented feel of the place.

Overall, DO NOT give this place a pass until you've tried it out. You'll never go anywhere else, trust me.

I have been to nearly every falafel place in the city, and this one is the best, bar none. The ingredients are wholesome, nutritious and made from scratch every day.

I really don't understand Lester's concerns about cleanliness, as the place is impeccably maintained with love and devotion. True, the decor is a little bit dated, but it is all part of the charm.

The falafels are delicious (as you would expect) but I prefer the Janina sandwich -- a mixture of lentils, rice, eggplant, tabouleh, and much, much more. It is well worth the drive from anywhere in the city, and is truly Toronto's best kept secret.

I don't understand why people still eat there.
The kitchen is dirty, the food tastes plastic, like MacDonald or even worse.
I think the problem is they use very cheap quality meat.

I often eat lunch at Falafel World. The falafel and chicken shwarma are both good. The beef shish kabob is also very tasty, but takes about 10 minutes to cook. They let you customize the sandwiches for a small fee. I usually add some eggplant to my chicken shwarma. The folks who run it are very nice.

Family owned business- great value, Delicious and healthy. try the falafel swarma combo plate, enough food for two, for about $7.00. also the janina sandwich or the eggplant plate. Consistent quality, and friendly service.
