I have been to nearly every falafel place in the city, and this one is the best, bar none. The ingredients are wholesome, nutritious and made from scratch every day.
I really don't understand Lester's concerns about cleanliness, as the place is impeccably maintained with love and devotion. True, the decor is a little bit dated, but it is all part of the charm.
The falafels are delicious (as you would expect) but I prefer the Janina sandwich -- a mixture of lentils, rice, eggplant, tabouleh, and much, much more. It is well worth the drive from anywhere in the city, and is truly Toronto's best kept secret.
