Truffles

First off, I have to say that the room is gorgeous. Very warm and inviting. There is apparently live jazz on a Saturday night, but we were there on a FridayÂ
I donÂt remember the full menu descriptions but here goes Â
Started with a spinach salad with tomatoes & feta with a balsamic vinaigrette. For my taste, there was a bit too much dressing, but the salad was very fresh and tasty. One of my friends had the grilled calamari, which was declared perfect, beautifully flavored & perfectly grilled.
Two of us had the steak with sweet potato frites & wilted spinach. Steak was a nice cut, prepared well and well seasoned  very tasty. Fries were crispy. My friend also enjoyed her steak. The other dish on the table was a pasta dish  which was apparently very good, and quite rich.
Dessert - two flourless chocolate cakes and a crème brulee. The cakes were inhaled pretty quickly, which I took to mean that they were good! Nice portion size. The crème brulee was very good  great texture  nice and creamy, not at all eggy. Definitely a keeper.
The chef is fairly young, and came out to make sure that everything was to our liking, and solicit feedback.
Dinner for three with drinks, tax & tip - $210
