Bistro 222 is located at 222 Richmond St. West, a 5 minute walk from the opera house. I say go here. There aren't many reviews but I think the reason might be just because it's in the entertainment district rather than an actual restaurant neighbourhood.

They have lovely food and a terrible environment. Definitely bistro type food (which I love too!).

Hidden within the industry district, yet convenient for the theatre crowd, clubbers, shoppers, or anyone looking for great food and an extensive beverage menu. Try anything on the menu, you're guaranteed to polish the plate...given you didn't give in to the temptation to fill up on the bread served drizzled with herb flavoured virgin olive oil. Don't pass on the "222-Tini" either, it's 2 good 2 be true!
