I wouldn't call it "market fresh", but it's OK quality. There's always a roast beef (sometimes good, often not) and for Tgiving there will certainly be turkey as well (always good). There is a salad bar and 2 steam tables, each with about a dozen items. I liked their battered shrimp (the shrimps are not too big but the batter is thin and light) and cantonese noodles. I don't eat meat but was told their ribs are pretty good (but I don't think they have this all the time). Fish is usually overcooked and dry. Fried chicken, so-so, also tends to be dry. The desserts are all store bought boring stuff. If anything I would just get soft serve ice cream (that you get yourself) on a waffle.
Tucker's Marketplace is better, and Sisters even more so (but these are not downtown).
