i decided to check hanwoori out with a friend after walking by it many times. deco is pretty nice. the menu seems to be a little over-priced comparing to other cheap korean restaurants.

the beef/seafood hotpot is the cheapest one on the menu so we ordered it. taste as good as the regular korean restaurant. nothing write home about.

if you want nice decor, this maybe the place for you. If you want something cheap and don't care the decor, i usually go to the one that just few doors north of hanwoori. forgot the name but it has a very small entrence. food is as good, price is cheaper and not much decor though.

Went to this place for Sam-gyup-sal a while back. Was disappointed. I've had many (perhaps hundreds, says my clogged arteries) of pork barbeques--most in Korea--and this one was not that great.

It was fatty...which is usually ok if you cook it enough, but it never seemed to get well enough done to get that crispy brown that I like.
