I had their ribs a couple of time. The first time I thought they were terrible and the second time I tought they were passable. I would never personally use great to describe them.

I've been to the Purple Pig three or four times in the last few years. The ribs are always pretty decent, but the sides vary in quality. They do seem to be on something of a gradual decline; last time we received extremely (as in unreasonably) slow service, though the staff were still friendly as always. I might still drop by occassionally for a ribs fix since it's close to me, but I certainly wouldn't rave about the place or suggest people travel long distances just to go there.
