was there for winterlicious.
the menu is not bad and nice location. Service was fine, the restaurent was full so there was a lag before the waiter came to take our dessert orders after the meal.
The food: the salad and "squash and sweet potato" soup were generic. Actually I could not taste the squash in the soup due to strong seasoning, but the texture is right. For my main, I got 3 large tiger shrimp in the shell and 2 huge scallops - almost 2 inches across and 1 inch thick, which I feared to be tasteless, but turned out to be wonderful - along with a generous serving of crunchy fresh veggies. I was told the beef tenderloin was also good. The apple flan was just sliced apples baked in a flaky pastry, with a dollop of whipped cream cheese on the top - simple but delicious, not overly sweet. The sorbet came with fresh berries but nothing outstanding.
For my elderly relatives, I'm sure the portion was enough, but for myself, I would have liked a more substantial appetizer, such as the crab cakes on their menu (but as my uncle was paying I didn't go for it). The normal portions might be a tad larger but I felt we got what we paid for. All in all a good experience especially for my uncle who doesn't go to these kinds of restaurents much!
