One our our absolute favourite spots for brunch! The savoury tart is melt-in-your-mouth unbelievable and my husband loves the 'green eggs and ham'. Also an excellent spot for a weekday lunch. I've never been for dinner but I can only imagine that it must be just as fabulous!

I'm not sure if the staff had a case of the 'bodysnatchers' or not but I have never experienced such horrific service in all my life. It was not busy (4 or 5 tables of 2 ppl). It took ten minutes for someone to acknowledge our presence, another 35 to receive our food and 15 to sign the credit card slip. The server's reward for this terrible service was a big fat zero tip which was well deserved for a job poorly (beyond words) done. I will NEVER go back.

If people think this restaurant deserves 4 stars then they should get out more often. The star of this place is the ambiance - fully of romance and whimsy. But, it's a restaurant so I want food to be the star. It's a great place to take a date, but if you're looking for something new to wow you, you'll have to keep looking. This is is tyical upscale fare, not much originality or creativity and the wait staff is bush league.

Surrounded by lush greenery and vivid, fragrant flowers, the patio in the summertime offers a romantic, secluded setting. The main dining room is beautifully lit by candlelight and provides an extremely intimate, cozy atmosphere. The food is nothing short of phenomenal; from the appetizers to dessert, this is a total dining experience. To start, the bitter-sweet mixed greens with cambozola and pear crisps in a sweet vinagrette is the perfect beginning. Try the pan roasted halibut with pesto infused couscous, roasted tomatoes, asparagus and sugar snap peas -- to die for! For dessert, the caramel profiteroles with Lindt-chocolate ice cream, drizzled with warm chocolate sauce releases so many endorphins that you will leave the restaurant on a high!

This is definitely my favourite restaurant in the city - gourmet food at reasonable prices, and the fact that it is off the beaten track makes it even better. The venison is so juicy and not gamey at all - it makes you feel less guilty for eating "Bambi". My finacee still raves about the squash soup he had there over a year ago. The deserts are to die for. Brunch is great, but you have to go early or else wait for a long time. Try "Veda's Choice" or the "Huevos Monty". Every time we've eaten there it has been excellent - without exception.

Don't go if you're a vegetarian, all I got was a plate of rice with raisins in it, and boiled green vegetables, as uninteresting as it can get. Dessert was not better: the shell for the profiterolles was dry and obviously made industrially. The service was slow and the waiter showed they don't like to deal with vegetarian patrons. Overall very disapointing experience.
