Last time I was there, there was a $10 cover - worth it. Tuesdays are fun too. But the place is very loud. I'd go after dinner so you can enjoy both. The old mill was definitely the old school traditional thing, not sure if they still do that though.

If you're game for something a little more upbeat, check out the Reservoir Lounge. They have live swing jazz every night. Friday nights are fabulous -- same band every Friday -- a 6-piece swing band. The leader even wears a zoot suit. Always lots of folks dancing away. I've never eaten dinner there, but have had some apps and drinks, both of which have been good. Great atmosphere, too. Downstairs, a bit funky with exposed brick and beams.

I think if you go for dinner a bit earlier you don't have to pay cover. Regardless, it's worth it. It's a great place.
