Ever try ordering a foccacia there?

I have tried so many times, to get a foccaccia at the Richmond Hill Grande Cheese and I am told that I have to order one in advance. Whenever I call, the bakery department advises me of the wait time for a foccaccia (a foccaccia is basically pizza dough with tomato sauce, oregano and olive oil on it). Today I called at 11:30 a.m. to order one for lunch for my family and was told it would be ready at 2:30 p.m.??? Is this a reasonable wait time? I think not! I will never try to order one again here - it's faster to make it myself.

I visit the Grande Cheese in Richmond Hill every Sunday. I just love the fresh deli counter and allthe different cheeses-you can call ahead and the order is ready when you arrive. The pizza's are fantastic, fresh bread all the time. The staff is very nice and a pleasure to deal with. Absolutly without a doubt highly recommend!!!

I found the staff in particular the manager at Orfus Road location , I believe his name is Domenic he is the most rudest individual that I met, he's arrogant, aggressive, argumentative, definitely requires to wash and shave, very sloppy appearance, and he is handling food all day???????? Overall unprofessional he deserves to be fired. As for the Staff it not entirely their fault, just look at their role model, Grande Cheese should consider investing time to educate their managers, staff, 1st customer service skills second cleanliness.

visited grande cheeseon orfus road for the first time on april 9/09 with the intent of making a 300 dollar purchase. when i got to the checkout the girl there elise was using abusive language towards a customer. the customer asked for the manager domenic and when he asked what was wrong the cashier used the abusive language again in front of him. he seemed to condone her lousy attitude and should have fired her on the spot or at least sent her home. because of this i left my articles in the shopping cart and walked out, and i will never return to a place where a manager condones such behaviour. they should both be fired. i was told outside by a customer that this is a common occurrance, well not for me. i spend my cash somewhere that workers appreciate me not abuse me.

While on a visit to one of my bbq sponsor I happened to drive by a grande cheese factory outlet.I pulled a quick u turn and made my way to the store. Upon arrival the first person I talk to is the owner. I asked if they were associated with grande from the states and his answer was no. We had a conversation about pizza and cheese,turns out he is very knowledgable on the subject. He told me that a lot of there product is sold to local pizzerias in the area.
The store i was in must of had 300 ft of deli with every kind of cheese imaginable. Fresh and packaged,and at reasonable prices. The store i was in was said to be one of the smaller outlets out of the 5 they run. He also offered to sell by the case(10 *2 kilo bars) at about a 25 percent discount. Instead I bought 2*2 kilo bars to try before commiting to 10 of these. I was rewarded by getting a ball package for free,turns out if you spend 45$ you are given the choice of one of 3 items.

I made a pizza last night to try out the cheese and let me tell you its very good. No provolone on this pizza, I wanted to get just the mozz flavour,excellent melt characteristics and good flavour. I would give it a four and a half out of five.
