Babos Shawarma

I love this place. Eat their wraps at least twice a week. Great value. 1 wrap is 8 dollars all in, but can easily feed 2.

I love their bread (wrap) and have never really had anything quite like it at other places.

The shawarma is delicious, and the sauces really make the meal.

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!

I was there for dinner and i ordered a doner plate....it was served with rice, salad and bread. The doner meat was dressed with two incredible sauces that blasted with flavour. The bread was straight from the oven. Best of all, everything including a drink cost me under $10.00.

Best turkish food I have ever eaten. So far i've tried the pizza, the wraps and platters( beef and chicken) and its amazing. Awesome friendly staff serving delicious food for a good price. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who eats.

They serve the best Turkish (doner) sandwich wraps I ever had. The meat is grilled on one of those vertical rotating spits. I had a chicken wrap and a Turkish salad. My wrap was huge, it was filled with chicken, red cabbage, lettuce, onions, tomato and a Turkish sauce. Very fresh and very tasty. The counter guy said they make the pita bread fresh everyday.

It’s a spotless take out or eat in place with fixed tables and chairs. They also have items like Shish-kabobs, Turkish pizzas etc. which I didn’t try. When I was eating my meal I notice a lot of city works and police officers coming in for take out. I think that’s a good sign.

I live downtown so this place is not the the most convenient place to get to. But it’s worth the drive if you like a good Turkish (doner) sandwich wraps.

I went there a couple of weeks ago, I also had the chicken doner wrap and thought it was one of the best Middle Eastern wrap sandwiches I've ever eaten.

The homemade pita (or is it pide in Turkish?) was thin, slightly chewy (in a good way), and very fresh. And the sauces (there were two put into the sandwich) really heightened the flavours of the whole sandwich, which was enormous. I ate half for lunch, and my teenaged daughter devoured the other half cold when she came home from school.

By the way, while you're waiting for your order, they serve you a lovely glass of hot apple "tea."

I returned today at lunch. The doner (shawarma) that I had was beef, rolled in a thin, crepe-like pita with lettuce, red cabbage, tomato, garlic sauce and hot sauce. Warmed in a pizza oven and wrapped. It's huge for $5.99. Delicous, too.
