While the photos on the Fairmonts web site depict EPICâs big comfortable booths, there were plenty of regular tables more appropriate to a lunch meeting. Be careful with the teapots: the lid fell into my cup as I neared the bottom of the pot! The wait staff generously supplied me with a new pot (the green tea is nice).

My boyfriend and I just celebrated our 1st anniversary as a couple this past weekend at Epic and I must say it was the best dining experiences I've ever had. I highly recommend the Muscovy Duck. I'm not a fan of duck at all but the chef out did himself with the flavours and presentation. Service was very good and the waiter was very attentive. He paired our wines perfectly with our meal. Dessert was to die for. Try the dessert tasting if you're going with a special someone. It's a beautiful spread of *two bite* desserts. Perfect for sharing! I feel in love with the atmosphere and my boyfriend all over again! It was an evening my love and I will never forget!

I have to say that I was very impressed with my experience at Epic. Though the menue is not extensive the dishes that are avaliable are amazing. I have been to numorous resturants and have never had better tenderloin. My boyfriend had the duck and flavoring and spices could could not have complimented the dish better. My sincere compliments to the chefs.

I proposed to my Fiancee at EPIC and the Ambience and the Food was just awesome. The Staff made this very Special Day very comfortable and special. Funny thing that my Fiancee said was I wish you would have saved this Restuarant for our Engagement. Thank You EPIC for making our Special Day even more Special. Saika and Shamsh

Had a very nice evening here. Staff is very attentive and food overall was very well done. Started with the best, freshest salad I have ever eaten, then the venison. It is rare you find venison available and when I had it it was marinated in a very heavy sauce with cloves and pine nuts. You completely could not taste the meat, which was a shame at $32. I would've liked a sauce more complimentary than overpowering. The creme brule was fantastic and the service was incredible.

I have had the opportunity to work in Epic. The staff is wonderful in the kitchen as well as the service staff. I know that the chefs put alot of passion into the food they prepare. My parents came in and they were served not only to meeth their expectations but to exceed them. The food is very fantastic, and the sauces are a pleasure for the palate. I thick Epic is a five star dining experience. Co-Op Student
