Midtown restaurant (formerly Summit House) at Yonge and Eg has a very nice menu of updated comfort foods. Shepherds pie, pot pies, pot roast, mac and cheese etc. Had lunch there on Tuesday-- chicken pot pie was very tasty baked to order under very nice puff pastry with a fresh and tasty side salad.
