Beware

I agree with the previous reviewer who mentioned the disgusting behavior of the owner. He/ she is correct in stating that there are so many other places in the area where you will be treated with more respect. The food was not bad.

Cocktails - i.e. the $9.00 spritzers - are riduculously over priced. Food was good - particularly the eggs charlotte. However, our server was disorganized and rude, making this attempt at fine dining a sure miss in the future.

My experience at Alize was great. It was my first time eating there and my friend's third time. We both found the food to be excellent and we've both eaten at many of Toronto's finest restaurants. We had the mussels in a thick tomato sauce, the homemade ravioli with chicken and the baked duck. (I have to at times question whether or not extremely bad reviews are written by other restaurant owners in the area.) I'll definitely be returning! Keep up the great work!!!

We had the pleasure of taking our friends to this restaurant for their 5th anniversary. We were glad with our choice. It's a quaint little restaurant, very romantic. The service was amazing our waiter was very helpful and "on the ball". The food was amazing, we thought it was a bit pricy but nervertheless still had a great time.

Alize is a delight to anyone who enjoys the busy ambiance of a local eatery that is crowded with a well earned crowd of regulars. It has it all – delicious food; friendly service; and reasonable prices. Sure it is busy – that is a sure sign of its success.

For the first time I ate here on Sunday for Brunch and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. Not only did I love my eggs charlette my friend customized an omelette that was really good as well. The people sitting next to me told the manager that this was their first time and that they would be coming back it was that good. I normally don't go all nuts for a restaurant because I am very picky on service but this restaurant had it all. Ambiance, service and great food! I am so glad I found this gem and I will most definetly be coming back.

Sunday was my first time there and I just LOVED it. I had the Eggs Charlotte and it was the best I ever had. My friend had a custom omlette which turned out really good. There were people beside us who told either the manager or owner that it was their first time and they would definetly come back again. So would I. I even called people who I know who always go to brunch about this new gem of a restaurant I found. Very rarely do I get excited about a restaurant because normally if the food is good the service is bad or something but not here. Two thumbs up!
