The Food was good but nothing more than any other Thai restaurant. Service was what you would usually get and the decor was nothing special. However, since everything was average,we would go again if we were in the area.

My wife and I love this restaurant, it is the best Thai food in Toronto. The Lemon Prawn soup is to die for! If we hadn't moved outside of Toronto we would go more than twice a year. We seem always find ourselves at Mai Thai every Valentines Day and New Years. It is a nice place to bring a date as you have time to enjoy the food as well as each other. The restaurant always has a fresh rose on each table for dinner which can set the mood. There is a smaller cozy area on the second floor that is suitable for family or small groups of friends. The prices are fair and some people might not like waiting for their food, but it is worth the wait! You can always enjoy a nice bottle of the house wine to help pass the time. If you are planning on going to a show at the nearby theatre then make sure to arrive an hour and a half early. The restaurant does accept reservations. It is also a great place for lunch as soup is usually included with the meal. The main downfall of this restaurant is that if you come here before going to another Thai restaurant you risk never liking the food at another Thai restaurant!

The food at this establishment is far superior than anyhting else that i have ever tasted. Thai food is much more flavourful than chinese food and less greasy/oily. The meals are fresh and served hot everytime. If you like spicey (make your nose run)food, they have it. If you like sweet food, they have it. And if you have never tried curry, you don't know what you're missing out on people!I travel from Whitby (60km) at least once a week to eat here. It's a cozy little restaurant which makes it very personable and therefore the attention to all the little details are present. Perfect place for a first date!It is the best kept secret in Toronto. Go visit for yourself, you won't be disappointed! P.S. the prices are good and the best dish is the yellow chicken curry! Enjoy!
