I am Japanese Too and I think so too. Takesushi is the best Japanese restaurant in Toronto. Service is great, food is wonderfull. and I really like the inside of restaurant. It's not too much and neat. very good. I highly recommend to have an experience!!

I am Japanese and I think Takesushi is the best authentic Japanese restaurant in town. I dont know who wrote the review because its food is definitely not "mediocre". Owned and served by Japanese as opposed to most Japanese restaurants in town.

We ordered the fixed price diner that the chief prepares for $50 each and we were very happy with the variety and the quality of the food. We plan on going back soon.

I've dined at Takesushi a few times. Overall it was a very good experience. Good taste, excellent service. Although it is a little pricey, the food is worth it.

like one of the other reviews said, I don't know who wrote the description, the food here is the best japanese food I've ever had, especially the CHEFS MENU! it's a must try.

The chef's menu is pricey, but the food was awesome and unique. Overall, it was a dining experience to remember for our special occasion.

I do not know who wrote the restaurant profile for Take. Well, Take is not "mediocre"! I have dined in at least 15 sushi restaurants in T.O. in the last 2 years and Take is definitely the best. It is the one I will always go back to, although it is a bit pricey. The taste is worth of the price. Best sashimi! I still remember the taste after one year.

Ate here a little while ago now...but can still remember the taste! Experienced the chef's menu and some of the most interesting combinations ever. Worth a try... but a little pricey. Location, location, location I guess.
