I love this place - the atmosphere is second to none, the service is always great. I had the stuffed pork chop with jambalaya rice, and split the blue crab appetizer with my friends. Add in Waterloo Dark on tap and this is a regular stop for me. Friends both had blackened catfish and both were quite happy. Can't wait for the summer patio, one of my favourites in T.O.

Had my boyfriend's 30th birthday party there a couple of weeks ago and was extremely pleased! The staff was very polite and helpful, the food was great and the atmosphere was perfect! We had about 50 people and the lounge was perfect for the event. The two managers I dealt with were beyond helpful and were willing to do anything for us. I highly recommend this place not only for dinner, but for any special occasion as well.

Big Daddy's was a pleasant experience. The reception area was adequately full of Southern Mardi Gras type decor as was the lounge area of the bar. We were headed for the dining room but opted to sit in the lounge area instead. The lounge area provided a more authentic southern feel as well as a more intimate dining experience. I quite enjoyed the beer cap mural. The gumbo was a true Cajun must have. If you’re looking for a good selection of oysters from the east or west coasts then Big Daddy’s is the place! The wide variety of homemade oyster sauces was a delightful treat! Our lobster and scallop entrees were well prepared and presented. The value for such an enjoyable experience was next to none. We’ve already decided to go back this coming weekend. Enjoy!

My husband and I go to 'Big Daddy's' every year for our birthdays - we love it. The service is always excellent, the atmosphere is fun. We always start with the oysters - excellent!! We typically have steak or lobsters - both are always amazing. They also make the best scallops I have ever eaten - they are huge and just melt in your mouth!! This truly is one of our favourite restaurants - we highly recommend it!!

Big Daddy's is one of the best seafood restuarants that I have been to for either casual or business dining with a colourful Mardi Gra ambiance. I've been to three different locations so far and by far the Toronto location has the best decor.. Gotta to try their oyster bar...Hopefully they still have the Happy Hour Specials!!!

The lounge seating is great for setting the mood for a dinner date, staff is smiling, freindly and you can see that they enjoy their job and the environment. I leave with a smile on and the cheque doesn't kill my balance ;) R

I've been visiting them for 4 years, and the staff are always attentive and fun, the food great, and the music hopping. The best thing is that no matter when you go there, day or night, weekend or weekday, it's the same quality experience. Bravo!

The best Chicken I have ever had, seriously, blackened cajun kicks butt! The Voodoo Lounge is a trip, we will be returning often. Prices were reasonable for T.O. & well worth it! I felt at home instantly, wrapped in velvet and drenched in candle light. Perfect! MDot
