I agree with MickeyJ, I go there for bevies only. The food is not great, there are several other places to go within the area that is much better, such as JKWB and sen5es in the metro hotel.

I frequent Reds for drinks and nibblies only. I would NOT recommend the place for any special occasion.

The room itself is in no way romantic -- the tables are too big so you are far away from each other, and there are way too many tables. From my experience, it is a place that business people go after work for drinks -- a bit loud, largish groups of people.

My friend and I went there for Winterlicious and the food was excellent. It was refreshing to know they weren't serving only chicken and salmon. Instead they had some very delicious selections. I would definitely go back for the food.

The friendly service and delicious food are definitely huge incentives to return to Reds. Bravo! ~e.m.

A group of friends and I went to Reds for the first time and absolutley loved it! The food was great, the service was outstanding, and the private room was incredible. Our waitor was absolutely wonderful. We're going back for sure!

My sweetheart and I dined at reds on Saturday for the first time, and I have no complaints! Our server was quite attentive and knowledgeable of the wine list. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the twists on old favourites: pork tenderloin, risotto, tomato/brie salad, even ketchup! Of course, a bit pricey for an 'everyday' meal but the ambience, food, and service make it ideal for that 'special dinner'

We've been to REDS three times and will continue to go back. Everytime has been amazing. The food is to die for and the service is impecable. Keep up the great work!

Food was unfortunately well below expectations. Average sweetbread terrine, average Wellington, complemented by a eggplant mash that actually tasted bad. First time in years that I've actually said "yuck" to something that's been put in front of me. Also very disappointed with their approach to serving wine: They have a great selection, but the smallest glass they sell is 7 oz., which is more than a quarter of the bottle. And the "value" is actually really poor, because they charge you exactly a THIRD of the bottle price per glass!!!! The main reason, however, that this is disappointing is because with such a good wine list they really should make it easier to sample, rather than ensuring that you're legally drunk if you try more than one "glass." reds could learn A LOT from Jamie Kennedy's or the Tasting Room in this respect. Only positive was that the waiter (not the manager) was actually a nice fellow and knew his wines. Overall: Disappointing food & value, not client-oriented, and not even attracting a cool enough set to make the people-watching interesting.

Was VERY disappointed with the experience, especially the service. Arrived for dinner at 8:00pm, & was seated immediately. Waiter came to our table 10 minutes later (no exagerating, I looked at my watch) apologizing that he had been "distracted". No wine list was ever presented throughout our evening. Waiter then came back 10 minutes later with the bread. Calamari appetizer was somewhat bland, be satisfactory. Roasted lamb was even MORE bland and the Marlin was dry/over-cooked. Creme Caramel was good. Another 10 minutes went by after dessert was finished, and the waiter then came by to ask if we would like coffee. Needless to say, WE WILL NEVER BE BACK TO REDS!!! VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!

Went on a Friday night for Summerlicious. Service was excellent, better than the food. calamari seemed undercooked, marlin was a bit dry, creme caramel was nothing special. However, the service was good. All in all, not worth the 30 bucks.
