At Shanghai I frequently get sweet potato fries with wasabi mayo almost anytime I sit down there. Sometimes have the Shanghai noodles which are surprisingly good in texture and flavor. Haven't tried some of the more interesting items but have had the burger and chili and it's decent. The chili in particular is interesting because it's not that thick but has more fresh vegetables than one might think.

Shanghai has great traditional breakfast stuff (eggs benny, steak and eggs etc.) as well as excellent chicken fried steak, burgers..The ghetto chicken is great as well. Prices are low but the place is in a "trendy" part of Queen Street and can get busy late at night..

Shanghai Cowgirl burgers... they are yummy and filling, especially at 4am. Get their sweet potato fries and wasabi mayo! I get them everytime.

Great food. Second the perogies oriental style. I love going to this place and eating a whole bunch of tasty stuff.

I like the perogies with garlic, chillies, ginger and bbq pork - but beware - don't plan on kissing anyone for at least 2 days after eating it! DH likes the burger.

Great place - very hip, cool vibe.

Haven't been there in a while but I remember the burgers being quite good and the ghetto chicken being really good as well.

Patio is pretty nice for where it is downtown. Off the street, totally different feel than the rest of the place. Kinda nice. I've only been when others wanted to go, and the secret seems to be finding a meal you like and sticking to it. I wouldn't take too many risks with this joint... you'll be disappointed. I will say I've had the salmon (passable) and the chicken club (yummy). Friends of mine do have other favorites, so clearly they can please people. And yes, we were all sober at the time. OH yeah... there are MUCH better places to go for breakfast. I won't make THAT mistake again. Ick.
