I've been to Niagara Street Cafe a handful of times now and with varied groups and guests in terms of budget and food sophistication/ adventurousness. Niagara has always exceeded expectations. The service is knowledgable and just the right level of attentiveness, menu is shorter but enough variety - makes you feel like they focus on what they do well. Cheese plate is always well explained and good selection. I can't say a bad thing about this hidden jem!

I love this restaurant! I have been there several times and never cease to be delighted. It is a fabulous environment for intimacy - whether its a date or with a few close friends. The food is outstanding and the service is always wonderful.

had dinner with 2 other couples risotto on special menu was great - cheese platter at end was amazing - quail excellent - service was fair but informative - beef cheeks were decadent - potato side weak - grilled caesar salad incredible for originality and just yummy (going to make at home)

Great ambience complete with funky soundtrack. Service was friendly and attentive. Short yet comprehensive menu full of unique items. All of us tried something different, and were equally impressed by the freshness and the quality of the product. Of particular interest was the wine list – obviously prepared and managed by somebody who knows their stuff. Not overpriced and great selection. I recommend this place to everyone!

Friends and I went for brunch. The pork sandwich, eggs benedict, and the eggs florentine are just so-so. The service, however, is unacceptable. Not only is it painfully slow, our server has so much attitude we were left with a poor impression of the restaurant. Would never go back again.

One of the best values in Toronto (maybe THE best at this level). If inconsistent at times, I have never felt like I was not getting an amazing deal. Sometimes the food is really amazing. Good wine list too.
