If you want salsa then definately Lula Lounge!!

They always have amazing live bands from Cuban to Spanish! We are regulars and while we are expert salsa dancers, we still get down since it is not at all pretentious.

Many great dancers do show and are amazing to watch. They also offer a one hour salsa lesson before the band starts for anyone who wants to participate.

You can have a nice dinner there as well before the show. This is a good option since it will guarantee you seats while the show is on if you need a break from dancing.

Gorgeous club! Saw jazz trumpet player Nick Ali and his 10-piece salsa band there - Marron Matizado. Incredible band to match the incredible atmosphere. Salsa saturdays every weekend with different groups. You've got to check this place out! Best waitress award -> Noelia

Great place for a wonderful night of dancing. The people are all friendly and the dance floor is large. The bands are terrific. I highly recommend it!

I've only been a couple times but thoroughly enjoyed. Great atmoshphere and music. Love that DJ plays LOTS of Salsa - that's what we go to SALSA/Latin nights for, not Hip Hop or Pop (Shakira/ Enrique/Ricky - yuck). Looking forward to Bateria on Sunday. Toronto needs this! Thank-you Lula Lounge. KEEP IT LATIN, KEEP IT REEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAL!!! Non-Latin but Latin Lovin!!!

The place is great, however, music...oh! is...Gee! Lula, you need to improve your music...salsa is ok, but also some meregue, mambo, vallenato and Shakira would be great...You gotta improve your music or your place will go down the drain...and I wouldn't be happy about it. Un beso...buena suerte!

the place is beautiful, great set-up, relaxed atomsphere. The food was great!! try some grilled veggies, and do not miss the 3 leches dessert!!!! I had the worst waitress ever!!! But I went back, and I find friendly lati bartender and at dinner the service was just impeccable (just so you know for the next time, asked to be served by Noelia!!). Smoke free!! you gotta love it! big dance floor, with people having a good time, not like the other latin clubs where you feel weird if you don't know those fancy turns... great musicians, beautiful music, good drinks... what else can you ask for!!

Here are the good and bad things, the way we saw it on January 24th: Good stuff: large dance floor; non-smoking; great salsa band (Sol Cuba); not too crowded; one meal of scallops for appetizer and the Cuban roast pork for entree was very good; most of the people are just learning to dance so it is a good place for beginners. Bad stuff: DJ only knew how to play salsa music (no cumbia, no bachatta, no mambo, very little meringue); one meal of grilled vegetables and pasta was terrible; the people there dress too casually (jeans, open shirts, etc.) compared to the other good Latin clubs in the city.

Thank God for a dance club that respects the health of its patrons for being a non-smoking facility. Other latin clubs should follow this example.

Have to say, there aren't many places around with this this type of space & set up. Enjoyable time to be had by all!

Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful people, relaxed, friendly. There is a separate enclosed smoking area, keeping the main dance floor and lounge area smoke free.
