cozy & deliciousFriends and I went here on a saturday evening to have dinner and some drinks. We arrived just after 9PM (second seating). First impressions when you walk in are that its a very cozy restaurant. We all ordered a few tapas so we could all try a little of everything on the menu, this worked out very well. Their paella is delicious and perfect for sharing. All in all it was a great night, cant wait to go back soon.

We were recommended to got to Embrujo for summerlicious by close friends as we were curious about tapas and Flamenco. I have to say just for a night out with friends it was the best choice for a Saturday night.

This place is terrible! We got there at around 6:30 and the waiters were confused to why they were people there, because it was dead. After we sat down we noticed there was 20-30 flies (not kidding at all!) in the restaurant so we spent hald our time shooing them away. We ordered some Sangria and it tasted like wine gone bad. The server corrected my mom with the pronounciation (We are Spanish) and made her pronounce it with an English Accent. we ordered food and it was awful!!! We got 7 tapas to start and they were absolutely gross. The chorizo and manchego pastry tasted like a pillsburry Pizza pocket, the potato tortilla came out ice cold and it was very greasy. The eggplant was pretty tasty and so was the steak with french fries with mustard sauce- although for 10 dollars I think overpriced. The saddest thing we ordered was the chorizo done in brandy. It was served in what looked like an ashtray and it looked like a hotdog that was sliced and fried in oil. No decoration, no presentation, no aroma. Ummm... we ordered the stuffed piquillo peppers and they were DISGUSTING! It tasted like roasted peppers from a jar with a slice of what I think was cheese (did not taste like manchego cheese) on the inside. The way they layed them out made them look like cat tongues. We went there to see the show and we thought that would save it, but that never happened. When we asked to talk to the manager she was rude, didn't apologize, or anything. She moved us to a table that wasn't so fly-ridden but we were done eating at that point. Do not waste your time and money going there- it's disgusting, poor product, food lacked personality and presentation and the waiters were pretentious (Did I forget to mention there was a big party of people that came after and when they did they forgot we existed? We waited over half an hour for our bill)

Went to Embrujo for the first time in about a year and I must say that the quality of the Tapas has really gone down...It wasnt untill later that we learned that the original Chef was no longer there...and it showed... The puff pastry was very very greasy... the garlic shrimp over cooked and the lamb dish was so small that we ended up sending it back... The service was rushed and not very friendly the new owner hais I think was her name was rude and her lack of profetionalism shows in the way that this lovely restaurant has gone down hill....

I was at Embrujo for their paella festival, I was actually pleasantly surprised on my visit. First of all my partner ordered their tapas menu cant exactly recall what he ordered, I went for the paella festival menu; let me tell you what a feast, I must say the highlight of the night for me was the black paella or black rice, What a treat! loved it, wish they put it on their menu permanently. overall liked the service and the ambiance, I could not bring myself to finish my meal, however I made sure to have some of the dessert flan.
