Kiva's is a nice informal bakery cafe place on the south side of Steeles just west of Bathurst. The twisters at Kivas are the best Toronto bagels.the regular ones are also excellent.try it and it is a very Toronto experience.

I like Kiva and their breakfast is good and more varied than Bagel World. Also, the restaurant is much larger. I am old school, every morning my mother would send me with a quarter to Stancers Bakery at the corner of Borden and College to get our daily supply. The closest to those bagels of blessed memory is either one.

I have been going to Kiva's for over 20 years, and highly recommend the Greek Salad...it is delicious and it comes with one of Kiva's yummy bagels (a variety to choose from). It's usually packed and noisy, but that is a reflection of the quality of food and service. It's worth the wait in line. The service is fast and the wait staff are fantastic...be sure to ask for Carol or Annabelle. Enjoy! See you there!

The smoked salmon is the finest anywhere. Simply melts in your mouth. Try it on the twister and you are satisfied for a whole day. Wait staff is very nice too.

This place is an experience you have to try at least once in your life. Place is packed, crazy, with the noise level of an airplane. Great breakfast special with your typical "Jewish" favourites, including the best Lox and Creme Cheese on a Twister Bagel in town. Great Eggs and thier homemade soup is fantastic. Saturday and Sunday mornings are slammed but what a riot!!
