The food was wonderful. Well thought out and full of delicious treasures. Not the same welcoming service as of the old days.

Jov atmosphere has changed alot. This place was really comforting and the cuisine was absolutely excellent. I visited on a saturday and even though it was very busy, service and the food was excellent. It was nice to watch the chefs put together great tasting dishes. It was a great experience and would definately reccomend it. thanks

I had looked forward to visiting JOV ever since I had heard it's new owner was Chef Masayuki Tamaru. Happily, on my first visit I was delighted with a wonderful dining experience. I of course chose Masayuki's tasting menu. His French cuisine as always is exquisite - down to the last detail. The service was attentive and professional. I will definately return again and again.

The service was very poor alomst rude. I would definately visit again because the cuisine chef masayuki brings is always exceptional. Its french cuisine at its finest. I recommend the Foie gras , Caribou and White Choc Mousse . JOV is a very different atmosphere from the previous owners and the menu has changed alot. hats off to the chef!

Have been a few times now, and have yet to be disappointed. The "trust me" menu is a wonderful way to try differnt foods, done in fantastic ways. Will be back again and again...

Perfect down to the after dinner coffee. JOV has a relaxed, informal atmosphere while providing the service and food of a formal event. From the moment you open the door until the moment you leave, you are made to feel like a best friend coming over for dinner.

Having made the rounds of some of the finer "foodie" establishments in Toronto, I found that JOV had the best value for the dollar. How does one compare a $200.00 JOV meal with a meal from one of the trendier Toronto establishments ($360.00); JOV's food and service, [wines by the glass not the bottle!] makes this an excellent value and experience.

I had the chance to finally try out JOV for the first time this past weekend. I had heard and read many nice things, so my expectations were high. I thought the food and service were great (we had the "trust us" option), and the wines were very nice. Overall though, it was just too expensive (all in with taxes, tip and a cocktail waiting for our table) at $240.00 for the 2 of us.
