The best souvlaki IMHO is at Asteria, on Danforth just east of Broadview. Very cheesy interior, but fantastic. And cheap.

If you want atmosphere and something other than souvlaki, though, this is not the place for you! :)

For good quality and cheap eats, I love Asteria (north side of danforth pretty far west towards Broadview). Although I do like Pantheon, this is just my fave of all. Their pork souvlaki is always perfect, they're really fast and have a great patio out back.

You will barely notice it when you walk by. it has a small enterence but I was surprise to find out that they have a backyard patio, small but cozy.
I can't compare it with other greek food as i don't eat greek food often. but i thought the food is good and it is great value. we had the dinner set for 2, cost $23 and we couldn't finish it.
they do take out as well and seems to be quite busy when we were there on saturday.

We were not impressed with the food and the service. Not going back is the best thing to do. There are plenty of great greek restaurant to go and eat great food. Mary.

The food is always great every time out there. They also have a nice patio in the back..lovely in teh summertime!

What a find! Great food - Great Value. Cozy decor, nice patio in back. Will now be my first stop on the Danforth for Chicken Souvlaki!
