The food was horrible. I had the crepe and the capsicum was uncooked the crepe was dry and cracking. No salt. My wife had alfredo pasta. It was tasteless and dripping in oil. All food looked like it was out of a can. Never ever going to visit this restaurant.

This Toronto franchise is not indicative of it's Montreal counterparts. Every element is there..the menu, the bright room, but it's the service where it falls apart. I love eggspectations in Montreal but the experience here is not the same. This place is in a easy to get to location but waiting for basic breakfast elements like coffee and juice, flat sodas just makes this a less than desirable experience. The food quality was not good either. Perhaps you should invite the staff from Montreal to show you the ropes.

It looks like some of Eggspectations's competitors have been busy posting negative comments again. This will not work, as good food, good service, and a nice environment will prevail. This place is a saving grace to downtown toronto, and it's horrible selection of greasy spoon breakfast places! -MIKE HOEGAARDEN J.

Being from Toronto, I suggest you leave this restaurant to the poor tourists who won't know any better. I can think of a dozen breakfast spots where you do not line up for mediocre food and zero ambience. Eggspectations is a sheer waste of time.

This has got to be one of the worst restaurants in all of Toronto. The staff in this restaurant need to learn some customer service skills, not friendly at all. They don't seem to serve or care about their customers. Would definetely not go back. The Montreal one kicks ass though!!!!

Having been to the Ottawa location of Eggs many times, I was excited that they had opened a location in Toronto. The food at this location is disappointing compared to the Ottawa location. Do yourself a favour and walk up to the Senator or down to the Irish Embassy for a better breakfast with no line ups!

When I went to Eggs, I definitely was not disappointed. I knew the place from Montreal and found it to be different, yet in a good way - we're Toronto! Not Montreal! The wait was worth the amazing food... and to all those people that are bashing this place, ha! does it look like your opinion even matters? The lineup speaks for itself! People wait for a reason! MMMMMMMMM!

After reading the reviews, I was contemplating whether or not I should visit the restaurant. Well, after deciding to do so, I didn't regret a second of my "eggsperience". Being from out of town, this was my favorite restaurant in the city. Considering it was the weekend and they were very busy, I was very pleased with the service and food on both breakfast and lunch outings. I am definitely visiting this restaurant again next time I'm in town. Keep up the good work.

The whole experience was sooo bad I thought I was on a hidden camera show. The dump is a comedy of errors. The food is rotten. It's so frustrating to sit at a table being ignored for seemingly endless periods of time. When you do finally get a waiter he seems bothered when you ask for something to compliment your meal you know like syrup for your pancakes. They keep crying about how busy it is but when you look there are empty tables all around. The place is a mess.
