We spent the day down at harbourfront and took the kids for dinner afterwards at the Bamboo. We all watched a bit of the olmypics on the tv's there, sipping daquiris and virgin pina-coladas... it was a really good spot to go with the kids... casual, and easy-going...big fishtank... and water and boats... not to mention the grub, which was great!.. big portions (I took half mine home in a doggy bag)... and good value... the wiatresses were very attentive and I suspect my hubby did appreciate the slightly revealing outfits (they were very cute!... I wish I could fit one!)

Wow, the bamboo cabana is now my official most-loved restaurant.it is a very big place so you can have and increble party and have your own little cozy area to sit and dine. The food was very good and they still have my favourite old meals.I went with a group of six and will not forget about it.I had the amazing pad thai and we all shared 5 meals,a boy was that fun!Definately highly recommended for everyone!I'll be back!!

My old friend from out of town came to visit and I took her down to Harbourfront. I was delighted to see the Bamboo, now the Bamboo Cabana (cool sign) up and definitely running. It was great to sit watching the boats and at the same time watch people go by!! We liked the food, tried the calaloo soup and shrimp skewers and pad thai and the cocktails certainly passed the test too!! A Good Evening.

Arrived with a group of friends to see the new sign going up... big neon colourful mounted on actual bamboo. We watched for a while...human nature, it's fun to watch others work! But also pretty exciting feeling like we were THERE when the B.Cabana started...we loved our meal, and the feel of the place...it promises to be a real focal point of the area... hats off to the owners!!

Went to this new club after reading the reviews and it really was really good. Had the flying fish sandwich, suggested it might need a sauce to the waitress and she got me one before my next bite.. quickly and nicely without any attitude. I liked that. Good feel to the place.. casual and hip.. real mix .. felt comfortable going on my own.. could even have met people if I wanted.. nice bar.. nice patios.. big open rollup windows to the outdoor patios..cool place.. will get to know it better.

My companion and I are visiting from Scotland. We would like to recommend The Bamboo Cabana to anyone who likes good food and good music. I had the best calamari which I have ever tasted (and I order it wherever I go). I in fact told the owner this and he seemed truly appreciative, which I in turn appreciated. The skewered sauteed shrimp were delicious as were the soup and salad. We are planning an extended visit next year, and we will definitely look into condos across the street, not just for the view, but for the the view (and taste)of the Bamboo.
