Astoria is still really rather cheap. For souvlaki, it gets my vote. For anything else, go elsewhere. 2 Large souvlaki dinners with rice and potatoes, bread and salad is under 30 and more than enough food.

I do not know whether to return or not. Very disappointed with the "new" menu and pricing together with worst service I have seen there ever. I was wondering if there are new owners. It now seems expensive for the same experience that can be had at any of a number of similar establishments on the Danforth - often at lower prices or with better ambience.

If there is a line up,it has to be good,I'v been lining up for over 20 years.It all tastes exactly the same as 20 years ago.....absolutley the best.Thanks from Pickering

I LOVE ASTORIA!! It is hands down my favourite place in Greektown. We've been going there for years now and the food is always the same - ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Very good portions, excellent value, and the tzaziki sauce is the way it should be - thick (not watery) and GARLICKY. We always buy a tub to take home with us. Definitely the place to go in Greektown.

This place provides excellent value, large portions and very tasty food. I've been to several Greek Islands and Athens and this place ranks in the top three -- not bad for a TO-based restaurant. I highly recommend this place to singles/couples/families -- can't beat the value.

Astoria is a great Greek restaurant with variety in the traditional greek foods. The place is beautiful inside and the people are really friendly. Its a great place to eat and have a good time.

My favourite Greek restaurant on the Danforth. The fried calamari appetizers are always perfectly done, and their tzatziki is out of this world. Their salads are great, and very few things in this world are as tasty as their pork souvlakis. Their prices are reasonable, and the quality is unmatched. I always get the same enjoyable meal everytime.

I've been eating here for years and absoloutly love it. It is hands down the best place on the Danforth. You can't beat the quick and friendly service & the food is out of this world. I now have all my friends eating here as well. We love Astoria's!!!

Astoria is the best Greek food restaurant I have ever been to. The food is excellent, the portions are incomparable, and the prices are affordable. It simply can't be beat!!!
