the hungary thai is probably one of the worst restaurants i've ever been to. heres what we had:
spring rolls were ordered to a respose of we dont do that anymore , by our server. we ordered cheese sticks instead. greasy and served with miracle whip for dippig. one HOUR later we got our mains, 2 schnitzel on a bun. dry, dry DRY, and on 2 peices of dry rye bread about 1/20th the size of the pork. a wedge of lemon and thats it.

don't waste your time there!

It isn't fusion. It's simply served side by side. It's not good and not exactly awful. But, bad enough that I haven't been in a long long while.

The owners are a married couple: One Thai, One Hungarian.

FANTASTIC! We were not sure of the Hungarian/Thai combo, but it was authentic, hearty, flavourful...a real gem! We recommend the 4X4 combo - amazing pad thai, spring rolls, schnitzel. We'll be back! Denise, Alan, Laura, Paul, Dom, Sharon, John and Natalie (+baby)!

it's restaurants like these that further my adoration with all things kensington. a colourful decor that keeps your eyes wandering, friendly service, delicious food (at large amounts!) for a great cost. i'll definitely be going there often come summertime! a perfect place to relax and enjoy after a day full of shopping.

We have eaten here twice in the last 4 months, and the food is very tasty, quantities are huge, and selection is very good. The dinners for 4 will serve 6 easily. You will not leave hungry. The place is not fancy, but taste, variety, and quantity more than compensate.

My Mom is Hungarian, Aunt is Thai - believe me- This place is great. The food is more than plenty, delicious, authentic, comes at a great price, and is delivered with a smile. Eclectic describes the decore and our group of 6 aged 8 - 80. Everyone left very full with yummy food (needed a doggie bag because the portions are so big and too good to leave on the plate)and very happy with our great choice! What a find!!!

The Hungary Thai was awesome! We had nice cold beers with a large bowl of the Hungarian Soup... Definitely check this place out; hard to find but "a diamond in the rough" of Kensington Market.

The food is incredible! The portions are very big, so bring your appetite. We had a Combo (with spring roll, a schnitzel with fries, a chicken pad thai, and chicken satay) and between four of us could not finish it all (I think it was around $25). Every dish was amazing! I'll definitely be going back soon!

Really great food! Great dinner specials (I had the goulach soup with a schnitzel and potatoes, and a crepe for dessert for only $13!). The service was really friendly too.

Great food at great prices. Best (and biggest) schnitzel I've ever had. The pad thai is excellent too. Prices are reasonable, and the portions are huge! What a find! This place makes it worth the trip to Kensington Market.
