Loved it. The service was over the top good. A bit hard to find for a downtowner like me, but well worth the 10 minutes to get there. Great wine list too. Pretty, classy, relaxed room.

Had a terrific meal at Toro last night. Loved, the tomato heirloom salad! We all had steaks and they were superb, the presentation was great and alot of wonderful flavors,the pear was a nice touch. I will most certainly be back and will spread the word.

I tried Toro shortly after it opened and was pleasantly surprised. I just revisited and it's gotten better, with subtle positive changes to both food and decor. Essentially a classy, upscale steakhouse with an environment that has both traditional and contemporary fixtures to create an inviting, easy-going resto. One of Toronto's real gems; sure to become a neighbourhood fixture. I hope it lasts in that tough neighbourhood for restaurants (Bloor West Village).

we go to restos alot, this one has a great chef. I noticed some menu problems though. it seemed that most of the menu was the chef's, and some was inherited or forced. at any rate I thought that over all it was a great meal and will certainly be back. maybe the room construction will be done then...good luck Toro Ole, Ole.

We went for supper on friday night, had a terrific time. I was expecting alot more from service as reviews had given it such a high note.

Hello, my husband and I were there on saturday also, we were very impressed with our supper. We had shrimp salad (great flavour) and Heirloom salad (terrific taste). Then my husband had the tenderloin filet (marvelous...pear to die for) and I had the chicken balotine, it was very interesting and tasty. sabayon we should have tried but we were full...next time.

Just Saturday we were in for dinner, I had seviche to see if it was better that reviewed. It looked terrific and had lots of lime?lemon. I loved the rest of my dinner...pot of fish was great.

I was at TORO on Valentines day. Nice prix fixe, good choises and great value. I wish chef had a carte blanch...could be interesting!
