Great food, excellent, attentive service from charming wait staff. I went for Winterlicious with 2 friends and all of our meals were excellent.

My final 2005 Summerlicious restaurant. Went with a group of 5, and was generally impressed. Service was excellent (very attentive and professional server). Food was very good - excellent appetizer and dessert, entree was good, but not a 'best ever' main course. Ambiance was nice, though a little blah - they could probably do with a good updating. Overall an 8/10 with a thumbs up to a return visit.

I have been to Trapper's 3 times and have had exceptional service and excellent food. i find it difficult to believe that the person above had a filet that was both raw and overcooked, seemingly simultaneously... especially since every piece of seafood i have had has always been cooked perfectly. Ambience may be lacking but food is delicious. Summerlicious lunch menu is a great value too!

I have been a regular customer to Trapper's Restaurant over the past 7 years. With every visit, I have always been pleased with the exceptional service and food quality. The Trapper's Salad, wild mushroom soup, and grilled salmon are unlike any other you can get at an equivalent restaurant.

My friends and I went to Trapper’s for the first time for Summerlicious 2004. It definitely doesn’t worth the price you pay for. I had better meals for the same price I paid or even lower. I ordered the Grilled Tilapia for main course and that was the worst filet I ever had in a western restaurant, esp. for the price I was paying for. It was over-cooked big time. So, the waiter offered to cook me another one to perfection, but guess what, the first piece was under-cooked. The center was completely raw! Thank goodness the second piece did meet my expectation. But I can't believe a high-end restaurant like this cannot cook a piece of filet to perfection consistently. I also tried the Roasted Breast of Thai Chicken. There was hardly any curry taste and it was kinda dried. (You can get better chicken from a food court.)
