Our bill came to $63 but they charged us $83. I caught the issue, they apologized and said they corrected. However, my Visa statement showed they still overcharged. I called the restaurant and they abruptly told me there is nothing they can do except to come in and get $20 off my next meal. I don't find it acceptable that I should have to buy another meal to get my money! I realize this is not a lot of money but I don't feel its right that a) I should have to find and advise of an overcharge TWICE and b) not still get any refund! Terrible!!

I know this sounds weird, but I've heard excellent things about Casa Di Giorgio, on Queen beside the big LCBO west of Kingston Rd. I've only ever had take-out pizza (excellent!) but I hear from friends their menu is good, as long as you know to expect traditional Italian (not too creative) food. The inside is quite nice, and they have a pretty patio, esp. compared to other places around.

inexpensive yet surprisingly good Italian restaurant. They have great pizza, and I've heard great pasta and risotto.

My favorite Italian restaurant by far! The more the staff get to know you, the more familiar and at home you get to feel. Wonderful food and wine...and an outstanding flavored espresso! A must for enriching the palate!

The place feels like a mob-restaurant in NYC... it even has its (suspect) characters over in a corner table by the bar (seriuosly!)... GREAT traditional Italian food, VERY good value, they treat you good and I always walk away smiling... best mussels under $8 in T.O, always get the specials
