Fabulous experience! The staff is so warm and welcoming! without any of the fake hockiness you get from the chain restaurants.

one of our favourites! the buffet may not be as extensive as some others but everything on it is excellant. it is not just filled up with a bunch of low quality filler. instead there are delicious options like beautiful, chicken pot pie jammed full of tender chicken, real turkey breast at the carving station, real mashed potatoes, beautiful fresh gravy (not the horrible canned stuff),roast beef, stews, etc. there is a large salad bar and tons of dessert options (the most moist chocolate cake in the city, carrot cake with the real carrot cake icing, nanimo bars, and an ice cream bar as well with a half dozen flavours plus all the sprinkle options). millie will make you welcome in this very pretty restaurant (with lots of parking too).

food was plentyful and supurbly prepared and presented in a lovely atmosphere as well as reasonably priced but was not as advertised. i spent 2 hours in traffic and travelled 150 kms. to enjoy a "cajun food fest" and found not a single taste of any louisianna delicacy. somewhat annoying but the jazz trio made up for it.

i have been eating here for many years. the restaurant is looking good,it's a nice change! if you get to know millie... you can see that to her, it's more that just a restaurant. ( i say to my wife... eating at sister's is like having family over with all the fixings out on the table, but for two)

i have visited sisters many times over the years and it continues to be a wonderful experience each time. the staff is friendly, attentive (without being invasive) and effecient. the hostess/owner takes the time to get to know her customers and you can tell within a few minutes of being in the restaurant that there is a large percentage of return business. but a new face or old, you are greeted as an old friend and made comfortable right away. the food is good home cooking without a lot of fancy frills - but you dont need them when the food is cooked this well! the house dressing (buttermilk dill) is excellent and while i do not drink, they seem to offer a nice selection of wines along with the usual drinks menu. there is art displayed by some favourite artists of the owner and it is for sale. so you can sit back eat a wonderful meal, meet some great people and beef up the art collection at home, all at the same time. i highly recommend this restaurant - and they have banquet facilities, and planned outings (shaw festival, wineries, st. jacobs etc.) at great prices also.
