Its my favourite! They have the most INCREDIBLE sausage.. and there waffles with fresh fruit compote are to die for. MMM get there early tho bc theres only a few tables and it can get full fast. They make their own ketchup too which you dont see at other breakfast places.

a sandwich named after the owner's grandfather - a very pleasant combo of cheddar, apple slices, Dijon mustard and of course bacon. In fact there's plenty of bacon on the menu. I'm a huge fan of bacon.

The other popular sandwich is the Breakfast Butty which has scrambled egg, homemade ketchup, aioli and of course bacon on toasted ciabatta bread.

They have omelettes, good coffee, soups, daily fresh baked muffins, and homebaked goodies on weekends and afternoons.

The prices are very reasonable - $5 to $8 mark considering they try to make everything from scratch. A good deal.

great, great, great, great brunch place. the staff may not seem the friendliest when you first arrive, but they warm up - kind of like a great friendship! food is great. worth the trip down to corktown.

My husband and I have been going to Morning Glory since they opened and we have never been disappointed. We were there on Saturday, too. My husband strayed from his usual "butty" (scrambled eggs with bacon and aioli on ciabatta bun) and ordered eggs with a side of the special sausage patty instead. The meal was great as usual. I ordered the BLT (they make theirs with a ciabatta bun) and it was just perfect. That aioli.... what do they put in it... a hint of dijon, maybe?

Out for brunch with my best g-friend on Saturday morning, we had both heard of this place and I ride by it frequently on my way home from work. It's quite cute, and pleasantly not busy at 9:30 on Saturday morning.
We both order the eggs, toast and rosti. She orders hers scrambled, with bacon and and OJ, I order mine over medium.
I should have started by saying I'm not much of a egg fan. Brunch is by far not my favorite meal, since I'm easily satisfied with a big bowl of cereal and fruit, which is easy and cheap to make at home. I like eggs, but not for breakfast.
The eggs arrive hot and fresh, but mine are over easy, the yolks runny which immediately grosses me out - I'm done with the eggs after one or two bites. The rosti could be much crispier and more well cooked, but at least they aren't greasy. The toast is a nice sesame bread, but my friend deems it stale - at least yesterday's bread if not a few days before. The redeeming points are the homemade ketchup and perhaps homemade jam. The coffee was good, it could be a little hotter but that's being very picky on my part.
Perhaps the most disappointing was the $2.50 charge each for the bacon and juice. The juice was fresh squeezed, but there was only at the most, 4 oz of it. The bacon, for an extra $2.50, was a mere 3 small, thin slices.

I'm not sure there will be a next time, but if it occurs, I will order the fruit, granola and yogurt. Someone at another table ordered it and it was generous and looked quite fresh. Or, I think I'll stop in on a weekday and try their fresh baked muffins.
