This establishment will not be there much longer, we arrived as the shops were closing saturday and the place was half dead, no atmosphere - more fun in a chain restaurant at a third of the price. Service was unprofessional and did not come anywhere near expectations derived from favorable reviews obtained off the web. Pathetically small food portions. Dark dingy corners to sit in unless you fancy eating al fresco and eat the dust.

We tried City Grill pre-theatre. The menu is very interesting yet the actual food was a bit disappointing. While the appetizers were quite good (calamari, baked brie), a few of the mains disappointed. If you like crabcakes, dont try them here. Hockey pucks with mega breading filled with probably canned crab. I basically scooped out the crab. Sweet potato fries are good. One of us had the asian chicken salad and was very disappointed. Dressing tasted like mayo? Not exactly asian. Service was very friendly yet slow, however in all fairness to our waiter, he had too many tables on the go.

Our office group heads to the City Grill at least once a week. We recommend this place to everyone! The food, although not high-end, is home-style and satisfies most. Love the Dijon Chicken and the calamari is fab! The service is very professional..The Management team go out of their way to satisfy their customers, both regulars and new! Love this place!

We were quite disapointed with the food. We ordered the Eggs Bennedict and the eggs looked like they were hard-boiled eggs, the english muffins were very crispy and dark. The food was luke warm. The price of the eggs bennedict was too high, we've had much better for a much lower price. The only thing that was good was the service, we won't be going back there again.

I just went there for lunch. There was a good selection on the menu. The food was pretty good. Try their sweet potato fries. The atmosphere was very relaxing. What's good is that you do not leave the establishment smelling like the grill. The service was very good, not intrusive at all. I found the price on the high side for lunch.

Unfortunately we hit a bad day and the kitchen was very slow in getting our meal prepared. This caused a problem due to our need to get to theatre on time. The management was very responsible and apologized fully. We were not asked to pay for our meal and on top of this each couple in our party was given $25 in coupons to come back again. We will definately give them another shot.

Great place. Small, dark and cozy, great for conversations, everyone seems to chattering away. Whether it be a romantic night or just any night City Grill is fun. Definitely try the Sweet Potato fries!!! Very suprised City Grill did not make it on the Top 10 Fries. Those sweet potato fries blow away NY fries and Harvey's
