For Thai downtown, I'd go with Young Thailand on Church and Adelaide especially if you enjoy curries. Thai is a weird topic here it seems, but I find the flavours at Young Thai complete. It's just a few minutes from the Eaton Centre as well.

Young Thailand has some terrific dishes and some so-so. The Green chicken curry and the beef salard are outstanding. they have this fried taro thing that's pretty awesome too but you cannot forget the sauce.

I think their quality has recently declined and I've found that although some of their dishes are very delicious some other dishes aren't especially the Pad Thai is too full of the ketchup (the westernized version of the real Pad Thai which should contains tamarind sauce + fish sauce (for the taste) and the paprika powder (for the colour).

Although the wait for the food takes an eternity and it is rare to see your server again anytime after the meal is served, the food is well worth it. This is the best Thaifood in the GTA! Definitely start with the Thai Cold Rolls.

Great Restaurant. Good Service, Food is out of this world. Its a great place to have lunch Buffet for only Ten Bucks.

My family and friends have been to many Thai Restaurants over the years. Many restaurants have opened just to keep up with the fad,, Young Thailand has always been there for us... "First Thai Restaurant in Canada"TM Please don't listen to me, Go and see for yourself and you will understand why it takes a Thai owner and family to run a great Thai Restaurant.

I always love coming here, because it's in the heart of T.O. and has lots of parking nearby. The food is to die for! I especially like the green curry chicken, curry duck and jungle chicken. This is truly the thai experience. Try their lunch buffet, it's only $10 per person and they got seafood on it too! Now that's a value!!! Can't wait to have thai again!!!
