Went here for the first time during Summerlicious and our experience was mixed. Our waiter was excellent, never intrusive, but very helpful and polite. The decor is as elegant as we expected. The big downside on our evening was the food. It was extremely bad, some of it would have been sent back in an average chain restaurant. However, we are giving this place a mulligan and assuming the poor food was because of the Summerlicious rush, and we'll try this place again on a regular night.

I visited Rosewater for Summerlicious 2005. I was a little hesitant at first because I usually do not dine at hoity toity restaurants. What a surprise! Everything was amazing about this place. Food, ambiance and staff. I am embarassed to admit that I had such a negative mindset going into this place. The food was amazing! The wait staff are very professional. You know what the old school waiters are like. The dining room manager even wanted to give us a tour of the place, what a nice touch. My friend and I will definitely be returning, especially when the prix is fixe.

Went for Summerlicious. Had a wonderfull evening. Food was excellent, service was great, not pretenious at all, find them very friendly and explained the dishes well. Great value, glad to see a resonably priced wine to match the dinner. $26.00 for a bottle of JakTrigs Chard. Good summerlicious choice.

The Rosewater is one of the few places I will bother to eat out at because it is consistently the best. The food is incredible, the service is wonderful the ambience is very open and breathable. So many restaurants are far too small. Rosewater is not. It's nice to go to a restaurant and actually have a conversation without hearing the table beside you. The portions are perfect, not too much. It's nice to go out and not be overfed. One portion is actually one portion--not 4. My husband and I love it, and we will return many times.

A very disappointing experience after having heard so much about it over the years. An unfocused decor, rooky "front of the house" staff and exceptionally poor wait staff who appear to be extremely untrained. Food was average. There are so many other wonderful places to try - we will never go back.

My surprise 65th birthday dinner at the Rosewater was a wonderful experience. The special events coordinator was very helpful and worked with my daughter to arrange this surprise. Our party of 12 dined in a very comfortable glassed-in room overlooking the entire floor below. Our waiters were very courteous & attentative. Presentation of both main & dessert courses were excellent. Portions were quite ample. Beef tenderloin and Salmon were the main choices of our friends and both were prepared to perfection. The staff were attentive & courteous. We highly recommend the Rosewater and would definitely return for another visit.

One of the most beautiful restaurants in the city. Too bad the food and service do not support the setting. The hosts ignored our presence when we arrived and when they finally "noticed" us, they were rude. It was difficult to get the waitstaff's attention. Food was ok. The busboy was the friendliest person in the place!

My husband and I were not impressed with the Rosewater supper club. Perhaps it was all the hype and our expectations were too high. The food was ok relative to other restaurants in this genre but it did not stand out. The wait staff seemed "invisible". I don't think we would visit this restauant again.

I have been to the Rosewater on a variety of occasions and have found the only consistent thing to say about it is the bad service. The wait staff I have found are rude and abrupt. The food portions are small and inconsistent. I really want to like this place but it just falls short every time.
