the food was okay but the doubles were hard and dry and the aloo pies are just to small. the curry was not the most flavourful. the server was boasting the whole time how they have the best trini food around and that is just not the case.

this restaurant is another family run type establishment. it has that familiar safe atmosphere. they often have some sort of tv programming or soca and chutney music playing. this is the best trinidadian food i have ever had while eatting out. these cooks know how to really cook the authentic cuisine. the curry is the true meaning of west indian curry, the hot pepper sauce is perfect, the doubles and channa were just as good as my father used to make, and no one could make it like him, until now that is.... :) great prices on everything and daily specials on a full meal item. the people serving you are friendly and patient because sometimes i just dont know what to order, its all so good. they have some seating accomadations, but it is not very big at all. so to me that is the only down fall, i hope they one day are able to get a larger area for seating. the food is just the best, just like back home cooking that anyone can appreciate but mainly if you know the food and how it is to taste, you'll not be let down. freshly made and hot to order, timely and great service makes this place a favorite place of mine.
