Visited the East Side Marios in the Hartland Mall on Maris Rd in Mississauga for lunch.
The service was the worst I have seen in a restaurant in a long time. Not that busy but it took 15 to 20 minutes to see a server. After ordering salad and a soup it took almost another 20 minutes to receive the food. Again almost as long to see the server again. The server was also the bartender and had no time to serve his table customers. Never again.

East Side's has long been my friends' and my favourite restaurant - for end-of-the-week relaxation or for special-day celebrations. We can even order each others' favourite entrees with our eyes closed! Having moved out of the province, I miss East Side's every day!! I can't wait to come home at Christmas and eat myself silly at my favourite restaurant! Cheese cappelletti, here I comeeeeeee!

I go to East Side's constantly because of the good food at a decent price. Try the bottomless pasta bowl if they still have it: it's probably the best value. A little bit loud at times, but good for get togethers and parties for people who can't afford to pay more than $20 for a dinner meal (like me!). Service is as good as one can expect, and could depend on how busy the place is.

It's a great place to just dine and socialize. It's great in the bar and in the dining room. Worth the try, especially if you like a variety of Italian food.

East Side Mario's has a great party like atmosphere to it, which is perfect for birthday's, company outings, etc. However it's not a place you would go on a romantic date to. The food is excellent as is the service. The prices could be a bit cheaper as the cheapest burger and fries is $6.99 plus tax and that does not include a drink. Plus you can't forget the tip. Add an appetizer and you are looking to spend around $17.60, which includes a 20% tip. Overall, I would give East Side Mario's a 3 star rating.
