The waitress Rosaline I think ruined our evening. If you pay more you expect a decent service. Fix the furnitures and the waitresses!!!!

I have been coming from Italy every year to The Lobster Trap since 1982 and this year I have been there 3 times in 2 weeks to get outstanding 2.5 pounds broiled lobsters as well as the delicious lobter bisque and oysters!!! I came back home in Italy yesterday and I already miss the lobters of the Lobster Trap! I'm looking forward to coming back to the trap!!!

One of my favourite restaurants, always wanting to go back for the famous lobster bisque!!! I think the pricing is worth every penny of it!!!

Indeed there is a reason that I've come back to this restaurant more than a few times, and that reason of course is that I get a craving for a great lobster dinner accompanied by a nice bottle of white wine. I must say that the lobster bisque truly is to die for. And while the lobsters themselves are overpriced, they are of course wonderful and prepared to your liking. Having said that, the service is usually friendly but can be slow especially during peak hours. Also the ambience is lacking somewhat. One gets the impression that the decor hasn't changed in the last 20 years or so, and possibly longer. It can often be very dark inside the restaurant but that in itself doesn't hide the fact that the floor is rather gritty and even grungy at times. In spite of this, it's still well worth the visit.
