just went yesterday and it was fantastic. not only do they have the ostrich (maybe it's just subject to availability, but they had it yesterday, maybe call and see) they also have possibly the tenderest octopus, which is a must try. and they do fantastic smoked ribs. now that their patio is open in the nice weather, dining outdoors is a real treat. a must try!

amazing desserts!!
Boba has a sampler dessert platter ("the Grand Dessert") with a bit of most of their desserts so you'll get ice cream, sorbets, cake, pie, pudding, cookies, small creme brulee, etc., etc. It's a dessert lovers dream and a great deal for $13.

Fabulous! Exceptional professional, courteous service and incredible food. It never felt like the service staff was hovering over you, but as soon as you needed something, there they were. The chef made a personal visit to each table for a brief conversation with each and every diner - a really nice touch. Food presentation, quality, and taste were all superb. Boba is at or near the top of my list for places to dine in Toronto.

This is one of the best restaurants I've been to. We were greet promptly and friendly by the staff. The food was beautifully and deliciously prepared. I will definately be back.

A real gem! Tried Boba for the first time during Winterlicious 2005. Considering this was a Prix Fixe event, the food and service were not sacrificed in any way. The staff was extremely professional and friendly, and handled our relatively large group (approx. 10 people) with flair. The food was, in a word, spectacular. The Winterlicious event made the evening a real value steal, but even Boba's regular prices are extremely fair given the quality of food and service you can expect to receive. Bravo Boba, and thank-you for a most enjoyable dining experience!

Coming upon Boba while walking in Yorkville turned out to be the highlight of our Toronto trip. The service was very attentive and the food was some of the best we ever tasted. The ostrich and veal chop was simply out of this world. The presentation matched the quality of the food and the desserts (orange chocolate creme brulee and mixed berry pie) were equally fantastic. What was a visit based on chance will be a regular visit on trips to Toronto.

This is my favorite restaurant in Toronto. We have been going Boba for the last few years. The food is creative, well prepared and served professionally. The hardest problem we have is deciding to have our favorite dishes or try something new. The steaks, fish are cooked perfectly. We always save room for the grand dessert. For the money this restaurant is a real value.

the food is phenomenal and the service was exceptional! The scallop appetizer is amazing...but then in the several times I've been there, every single item I have tried was delicious.
