I'm sorry but i ate there the other night and the food was merely ok. This place does not deserve the accolades it gets. The food is ok for what you pay for and the atmosphere is really the main attraction. It's the kind of restauant you really want to hang out in and food is well priced again but i wouldn't call this authentic Italian. I had one of the worst ceasar salads I've ever had. The risotto was crunchy and emersed in sauce that tasted like generic can pasta sauce, the gnochi were soft and tasteless other than the gorgonzola which overpowered everything. Great staff, great atmosphere, good wines, but not the best food. Don't believe the hype.

Spuntini is excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed and the great selection of food is fantastic. Portion sizes are more than satisfying and the wine list is unbelievable. A definite return dining spot.

Apart from the wonderful ambience,first class service,delicious food amd excellent wine list Spuntini has nothing to offer.

Spuntini has been our favourite restaurant for atleast 10 years.Not only is the food consistently great and the atmosphere warm, but the staff are about the best in the city. You are always made very welcome!!

Spuntini is magnificent! My husband and I are from Buffalo, NY and travel to Toronto often. After finding Spuntini on the web, we decided to try it last Feb.--in a snow storm! It was delicious and such an experience! Our waiter gave us personal attention, we met the owner toward the end of our meal, and always felt as if we were being well taken care of. We can't wait to go back to Spuntini this upcoming friday for our 1st anniversary! Have the rack of lamb--the best I've ever had!!!

The personal attention from the owner and the quality at a great price, we ate there every week. I actually have there number on my cell phone and have gven it to a number of people who are now regulars. try it once and you will be hooked.

I attended Spuntini with a few of my friends. We had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was very nice. The food was excellent and the service was pretty good. We had to wait a while to be seated, but this was expected on a saturday night at about 9pm. I plan to to visit again. The experience was delightful.

My girlfriend and I spent our valentines night here. The place is quite simply perfect. The best service i have ever received, the lamb was the best i've ever had. Thank you Spuntini

An excellent choice for a romantic dinner , we went there for our first anniversary & it was the best choice ... the atmosphere is so romantic, the service is very friendly & second to none, topped with awesome food ... keep the good work !!
