I really think Duff's needs another shout out. These are the best standard wings I've had and I have tried many places like Rowers, Sneeky Dees, St. Louis, All-Stars -- haven't had Scratch Daniels, probably because its in the Beaches. Anyways, Duff's wings are large and juicy. If you want hot, you can damned well get hot. Also, they will personalise your order -- if you ask they will do less sauce, or cook them slightly longer for extra crispy. I find anything over medium and they put too much sauce on if you don't ask for less.

Duffs is the best that I've had in Toronto. it does seem like their quality is up & down though, as many have noted here. but when its "up", it is very good! I always get the Hot. seems like anything more or less than that heat level (or flavour), isn't as good. IMO, I find their wings got bit too much fat on skins.
I went down to Buffalo to the Chicken Wing Festival, and Duff's is exactly like Anchor Bar's wings.

I'd agree that Duff's makes the best Buffalo style wings I've had in Toronto, but it's faint praise. I've never been happy at Duff's. I've always found the wings too soggy and often overcooked. The "hot" sauce tasted only of heat and salt while the medium was boring. I'll try once more and ask for dry and I'll see what happens. The two suicide sauces are a macho joke; they aren't about the enjoyment of food.

the best in the city. You have to like Buffalo style wings though. They have a very definite vinegar taste to them. I usually order hot. Their sauces hotter than that don't seem to be very good.

I have found none better in TO! In addition, they also have a great deal on Tuesdays. A pound of wings is only $5.99 as long as you purchase a beverage. I'm going tonight.

I love Duff's. Simply the best in TO. I don't know what the deal is with the post about over cooked wings. I've never seen them. Anyway, a true Buffalo style chicken wing, right down to the size.

I was disappointed when I went. All though the size of the wings (aka the bones) were big, there was not much meat on them. Also they were overcooked and dry... pretty astonishing for chicken wings!

I totally reccomend Duff's, nice and meaty, any level of heat you desire along with many other flavor options.

the honey garlic and spicy barbecue (not very spicy) are both very tasty ..
the honey garlic has strong garlic flavours but leaves very little garlic breath ..
the spicy barbecue sauce has a nice smokey, almost bacony flavour ..
the armageddon wings, hottest wings on the menu, are deceptively spicy -- very little vinegrette (i.e not a typical sour/tart "wings sauce"), does not smell spicy either .. it's almost a chemical burn when it hits you

Sauce choice (loved it, lots of choices): Plain, Mild, Mild Medium, Medium, Medium Hot, Hot, Superhot, Death and Armageddon. Honey garlic, bbq and spicy bbq.
The wings were huge and really meaty. Very satisfying, especially because they sell them by number of wings and not by weight, you eat more for the same price.
$8.95 for 10, $16.95 for 20 (a very affordable price, seeing that they were so big and included the sides, relatively more affordable than in other places like the Madison or Pauper's).
Dip choice of blue cheese or creamy dill.
The "medium" sauce was not as hot as they said it was, and it tasted a lot like the sauce on the wings from the Flatiron. Probably the same recipe.

overall, good wings!
